Monday montage: book trailer revisited

Somewhere along the canal, kicking around with friends, I heard about this event. And although I was reluctant to peel myself away from the glittering evening, I was sure it’d be worth it. My friends were audiophiles. Fellow creatures of the night.

After navigating a series of passageways, we finally entered a red-walled room of pool tables and glowing glass bottles. I had a beer. My trusty camera was strapped around my neck.

The beauty between

In this post, I bring to you poetry of the cinematic variety. A two-minute experimental film, this piece examines the crossing paths of two different women in the big city. Shot on location in Paris and directed by myself, the project was part of a 48-hour filmmaking challenge. I had a stellar team. Hope you enjoy.

My homies from Denver and Estes Park, Colorado. Not gonna lie– I don’t really know them. But they are my homies. And I shot this video, and I’m proud of it.

Really digging this band Tame Impala. Just pulled their most recent album “Lonerism” from the depths of YouTube.

“Pink Floyd and The Beatles had a baby,” is how they’re described in a top comment. I’m goin’ with that for now.
